Hello, it’s nice to meet you

I wish I’d found coaching 20 years ago! 

In my early 50’s, I made a career transition.  I found myself at a career crossroads, I just hit a milestone birthday, I wasn’t happy, I wanted my work life to be different, meaningful and I wanted more balance. 

Several years ago I found myself at a career crossroads.  I’d fallen out of love with my career in healthcare communications and the company where I’d worked for over 11 years.  I was hitting a milestone birthday, I wasn’t happy, I’d lost my confidence but I felt paralysed to do anything about it.  

I discovered coaching quite by accident after reading an article by a coach who, having retired from running a successful clothing company, retrained and started a new career as a life coach.  I was intrigued and interest peaked. I signed up for the Co-Active (CTI) coach training course and graduated as a Co-Active Professional Life Coach in 2018. 

Going through the intense and at times challenging coach training was transformational.  It helped me understand myself better and taught me to listen to my intuition, something I’d ignored too often in my life and career.  

Something shifted in me and I knew I wanted my life to be different and I was desperately unhappy at work. I finally hit a wall, and it was only when I was signed off with stress that I was able to begin to see a path slowly lighting up before me.  

I began working with a coach, a career counsellor and CBT therapist to help me to unravel my thoughts and work through self-doubt and inner critic voices.   With this support and inner work I began to bring clarity and focus on my purpose and move towards the work I’m passionate about - supporting people’s personal growth and empowerment through coaching

I truly believe in the transformational power of coaching. I’m passionate about creating the space for others to explore, find their own answers and make real lasting changes to live the life they want
